ABOUT RSH
MISSION STATEMENT.
Rachel Snyder believes the spirit of hospitality is about breaking down barriers. Whether it’s a “natty wine” tasting party, or a seated dinner for 30, the goal of gathering is to humanize the person across from us, and as a result, feel seen in a city that can be as lonely as it is exhilarating. At every Rachel Snyder Hospitality event, you are both a guest and a friend.
Rachel believes hosting is not made up of artisan glassware and elaborate menus (though we love those). Hospitality is a skill meant to be cultivated. It’s about setting the scene for moments of surprising intersection, through a reservoir of conversation prompts, thoughtful hosting techniques, and creative food and wine. In curated, often candlelit, inviting environments, take a sip, take a seat, and let Rachel & friends accelerate the possibility of connection often found in a restaurant or bar.
Meet rachel.
Rachel Snyder throws parties for a living. What began in 2019 as a 12-person dinner club quickly evolved into a 40-person pop-up dinner in a West Village restaurant. Since she said yes to jumping in the kitchen and leaving her desk job behind, life has been an escapade of all-things in the food world.
Rachel is a natural host, a chef, and a modern-day salonniere. She’s hosted and cooked for venture capitalists, start ups’ holiday parties, karaokae-ing pastors, destination weddings, a speed dating event, and even for celebrity judges on Food Network’s Chopped (S51). With a past career in PR for chefs and restaurants, Rachel knows how to mix business with pleasure.
